Waste Disposal Rivierenland
Avri is an executive service of the Rivierenland region. Avri is involved in sustainable resource collection and efficient maintenance of public spaces in this region. Enforcement, Policy & Advice, and Commercial Waste are also tasks carried out by Avri. ‘Working together for a clean Rivierenland’ is the company motto. The operational area of Avri includes the following 10 municipalities: Buren, Culemborg, Geldermalsen, Lingewaal, Maasdriel, Neder-Betuwe, Neerijnen, Tiel, West Maas en Waal, and Zaltbommel.
Avri does more than just collect waste. We wanted to make this clear in the corporate identity. The new logo consists of three boomerangs that represent the effect of behavior. When you handle waste and the livability of your neighborhood well, it comes back to you like a boomerang, and you benefit from it. Together, the boomerangs symbolize the circular cycle where waste becomes a resource for new products. The colors also have meaning. Blue stands for fresh, clean, and also for Rivierenland. Green represents the environment. The earth tone orange indicates that humans are the most important link in this process.
