The National Tulip Day in Amsterdam; the cheerful and colorful opening of the new tulip season. The opening of the tulip season is organized by Dutch tulip growers. In a specially created picking garden on the Dam, everyone can pick tulips for free. With this festive action, the tulip season kicks off, during which more than 1.7 billion Dutch tulips are expected to bring the feeling of spring into homes worldwide.
