In the heart of Amsterdam, at Leidseplein, De Balie is fully dedicated to politics, art, debate, society, media, and cinema. Now they can present their new look and website to the whole world. The Balie is a platform with a rich history. Felix Rottenberg was one of the founders of the debate center The Balie in 1982. Together with Paul Hermanides, Rottenberg led the organization and in the mid-80s commissioned the renovation of the courthouse into a theater complex. The Balie now works for various programs. For example, the programs from the series Mind the Gap and And Justice for All were set up in collaboration with Oxfam Novib, and the monthly Volkskrant, KNAW, and NEMO Knowledge Café has been taking place for years.
For De Balie, we created a website with a responsive design, where every detail has been carefully considered. We ensured optimal user convenience with the responsive design so that De Balie is visible on all types of screens, from computers and laptops to iPads and smartphones. We can confidently say that this website has depth, just like The Balie itself. Because The Balie wants to emphasize what is important in the world, there is a line in the logo. This line has been carried through into the rest of the site. Now they can present their new look and website to the whole world.
