Question

How do you activate 120.000 people? How do you get them to get up from the couch, grab their jackets, and all come to the same place at the same time? You need to stimulate them, inform them, but above all convince them that this is the event they must attend. How do we give the opener of the festival season its own identity so that a distinctive capability arises with high recognizability?

 

Approach

For Paaspop, we developed a bold visual identity. A lot of color and vibrant artistry speak for the festival with its broad and rich programming. The artwork, poster campaigns, signage on the grounds, banners, website, merchandise, social media, and motion graphics stand out in the crowd and appeal to a wide audience.

 

Result

Paaspop is now known as a unique event with a distinctive visual identity that you can recognize from afar. The demand for tickets has only increased in recent years, leading to the festival consistently selling out early.

Festivals are our thing. After all, we have been involved as (co)organizers in festivals such as Boogiedown, Wish, and Pleinpop. And we still have people in our team who are indirectly involved in festivals. So we know what needs arise in festival fields, what visitors are looking for, and what the tensions and dynamics are.
