A great gesture for each other
Theater met Tolk
Question
How do you make theater accessible to everyone? This is a question that Theater with Interpreter has been addressing for years. Important work that requires a platform that communicates clearly, is easy to navigate, and appeals to a wide audience. Inclusive, without being overly compliant.
Approach
Together with Theater with Interpreter, we developed a new brand story and visual style that allows sign language to speak as a strength. We translated this into an accessible, clear website where clarity and user-friendliness are central. Programmers, visitors, and theaters should all be able to find their way effortlessly. The site offers extensive filtering options, informative pages about interpreting in theater, and an intuitive agenda that quickly shows which performances with an interpreter are available. Of course, it has been constructed to be fully accessible, with attention to contrast, structure, and navigation via keyboard and screen reader.
Result
A stylish and functional platform that breathes accessibility in image, language, and technology. Theater with Interpreter presents itself as the starting point for the deaf and hard of hearing who want to enjoy theater and for theaters that want to focus on inclusivity. The initiative forms a bridge between theaters, interpreters, and visitors.
