At the end of 2019, we embarked on a grand adventure. DIP chose us as the software supplier for their yet-to-be-developed power tool for the performing arts. At that time, PNL and Podiumkunst Info existed as two separate tools. These two needed to be combined with a lot of other wishes into one web application.

Approach

First, we took care of the design of the dashboard. With a dedicated scrum team, we then got to work. We delved into ticket sales variations, making complex financial agreements, and generating up-to-date audience information. Our in-house developers worked with Microsoft Dot.net for the powerful APIs and Vue.js as the JavaScript framework for the new application. 

Result

The development took a few years. Virtually all agencies, producers, and theaters in the Netherlands are reunited in this tool, with more joining every month. All parties are gaining better insights into their audience with less administrative hassle. Thanks to the new application, all ticket sales, audience information, and contracts are in one place.
